VoiceDoc is an offline-first voice notes app. This policy explains what data is handled and how it is used.
Data Handling Summary
VoiceDoc does not require an account and does not upload your note content to VoiceDoc-owned servers.
- Recordings, transcripts, and generated documents: Stored locally on your device.
- Templates, tags, and settings: Stored locally on your device.
- In-app purchases: Processed by Apple through StoreKit. We do not receive full payment details.
How Data Is Used
VoiceDoc uses your data only to provide app features such as local transcription, document generation, tagging, export, widgets, and share import.
Microphone and Speech Permissions
VoiceDoc requests microphone and speech-related permissions so recording and transcription can work. You can change permissions any time in iOS Settings.
Apple Services
VoiceDoc uses Apple services and frameworks such as StoreKit (in-app purchases), Speech frameworks, and app extension APIs for widget and share support.
VoiceDoc does not sell your personal data.
Data Deletion
All app content is stored locally. You can delete notes inside the app, or delete the app to remove all local app data from the device.
Downloaded transcription and processing models are stored in app storage and are removed when the app is uninstalled.
Children's Privacy
VoiceDoc is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

We may update this policy from time to time. Updates will be posted on this page with a revised Last updated date.
